I was given some new products from Shiseido and Maquillage. I am totally in love with Maquillage’s new Rouge Enamel Glamour (S$43).

I have been using my RD733 to death. The larger side is rouge, and the smaller one is gloss. It’s palm-size and it slips nicely into your clutch – we no longer need to carry both lip stick and lip gloss!

And there is also the Dual Glow Eyes (S$40), which I opted for the WT971 (white + gold).

If you have read my previous Maquillage review, I commented that the eye shadow was too powdery and messy. This time round, the Dual Glow Eyes is more gel-like and silky. It is definitely a lot easier to handle than the Spring/Summer palette.

I like that the Dual Glow Eyes is a lot easier to apply. The colour is, in the typical Maquillage fashion, very shimmery but it is easy to manage the level of shine and colour intensity because of the ease of use and removal. I also use the white colour as a liner for my waterline. The staying power of the eyeshadow is good – I didn’t have messy eyes at the end of the day.

There are 5 colours to choose from, so if you think that WT971 is too light and subtle, you can choose a more dramatic combination.

As for the Rouge Enamel Glamour, I think this is a must-have! The gloss is shiny but non-sticky and easy to apply. The secret to longer-lasting lip colour is to leave the rouge to dry for about 30 seconds before applying the gloss! Available in 8 colors, this is definitely a staple in my make-up pouch.
