I noticed that I haven’t been updating much on the wine & dine front. I have been going back the same old, same old and just didn’t have any mind-blowing experience to report back. With new establishments sprouting around the island like dandelions, I have decided with a list of interesting places that I MUST VISIT!

1. Cocotte

Located at the ground floor of new boutique hotel Wanderlust, Cocotte is a French restaurant with really cozy and quirky furnishing. The only downside, it is located at the not so accessible Dickson Road.

2. Clifford at Fullerton Bay Hotel

I have walked past the restaurant as a detour from One Fullerton to One Marina Boulevard. Located at the ground floor of Fullerton Bay Hotel, the restaurant is designed with 10m high ceiling and furnished with classy vintage furniture. This is a posh place for corporate luncheons on weekdays, and hopefully casual brunches during the weekend. As the hotel is situated by the bay, so you will be able to see the nice view of Marina Bay Sands from the restaurant. Would be lovely to have a nice meal at Clifford, and then maybe to adjourn to the hotel’s rooftop bar, Lantern, for drinks or a dip!

3. Arbite

From the photos, Arbite looks like an IKEA-like eatery with its clean, wooden furnishing. Looks very Swedish, but they serve generic Western food. I think they sort of resembles Vanilla Cafe at Boon Tat Street, but located in the heartlands at Serangoon Gardens.

4. Strictly Pancakes

Whoa! A place that serves all-day pancakes.. with a comfortable couch to boot! The concept reminds me of IHOP in the US, except that the portions at IHOP were really huge and the pancakes that I ordered felt kinda greasy, and there was no fancy interior decor at the restaurant that we went to.

5. Ku De Ta

This is the number 1 to-go place for me. I fell in love with Ku De Ta in Bali and wanted to get married there. Now, I am also a fan of the Infinity Pool at Sky Park of Marina Bay Sands. I have to experience Ku De Ta in Singapore too! I have checked the restaurant’s menu, the Singapore version seems to follow the menu from Bali quite closely.

Haha, a picture of the lovely Infinity Pool. Ku De Ta is right at the back with red umbrellas.

Of course, if you have any other places in mind, please leave me a comment! :)
