H&M has proven itself to be such a great marketing machine with its latest designer collaboration. The Lanvin for H&M lookbook and item prices are out, but the mayhem has not stopped. Bloggers overseas were invited to press presentations to view the collection upclose and personal. Celebrities were spotted wearing pieces from the collection. And normal folks like me get tantalised by the photos of these events.

The Lanvin for H&M collection consists of a lipstick, available in 4 shades. H&M is not quite famous for its beauty offerings while this is the first time Lanvin has ventured into color cosmetics. So, how will the lipstick fare? I think I might like the beige lippie, which is priced at about S$17.

British celebrities wore Lanvin for H&M at the preview.

I kinda like the tulle dress although I can’t figure out when I can wear this. The toga dress has a raw hem, which is something that I do not favour.

Hong Kong popstar Sammi Cheng wore Lanvin for H&M at her concert

Necklace and tee shirt from Lanvin for H&M.

According to her Weibo postings, it seemed that Sammi Cheng wore pieces from the collection at her concert in Singapore yesterday.

Known for her opulent and glamourous concert outfits, Sammi really rocked the yellow toga dress getup and made an affordable outfit looked like a million bucks.

She also strongly recommended a pair of shades from the collection.

Hong Kong fashion blogger Popbee test-drove Lanvin for H&M

Popbee borrowed a few outfits from the collection and some of the pieces are not spotted publicly on celebrities yet. I thought these two dresses would be of interest to some of you.

She commented that these dresses are great for parties or wedding dinners. I totally agree!

Without a doubt, H&M has successfully piqued a lot of interest towards this upcoming collection and it is not hard to imagine their stores worldwide to be war-zones on November 23rd. ‘Fess up, who has decided to brave the crazy crowd?
