We know there are a few retail stores cum cafes in Singapore – such as the Little Drom Store or Pluck. There is a new place with a similar concept at Orchard Road now, with an interesting name –  “A Curious Teepee“.

Tracy Phillips, the woman behind A Curious Teepee (ACT), having a chat with Yvan Rodic of Face Hunter.

The store layout contains loads of angular elements, combined with a raw building shell and uses contrasting natural materials with smoky pastel gloss colours. I think it is a boutique that looks like a modern art gallery.

If you have been dying to reward yourself with a Triwa watch, you can get them at the store too!

The cafe looks like a perfect place for Sunday brunch. It will officially open in February 2011.

Coffee blends at ACT cafe are produced by Papa Palheta.

To kick-off its launch, A Curious Teepee hosted the book signing event of Yvan Rodic, the man behind popular style blog Face Hunter.

His pictures in Singapore are shot using the Canon Powershot G series. Gee, I have a G7 too!

Heh, photo from Xwen.

I am pretty sure I will be back at A Curious Teepee again. You should drop by too!
