It’s the party season and yes, we all know that LBDs are party essentials. But a little Red number could very well be a wardrobe staple too.

Yes, you hear me right. A red dress is an eye-catcher, but it is actually versatile enough for all occasions – dressy for parties and depending on the design, it could be appropriate for some serious business.

The party look is probably quite a no-brainer.

You can do some layering to add more texture to the outfit. Opt for a top of a similar fabric as the dress, or you could wear a little lace top over the dress.

Wearing a black cardigan or blazer over your little red number would get you to the office.

I would also tuck the dress underneath a pencil skirt and top up with a jacket.

This is my favourite style – accessorise with a statement necklace and you are ready to paint the town red!

There are also some who refuse to grow up. You can create a “Glee” look with this dress too.

With the new year approaching, it’s time to make a new shopping list! My fashion resolution is to step out of my comfort zone and experiment new fashion elements. What about you?
