Over the weekend, I headed to the Shiseido Booth outside Tangs Orchard for a pampering experience with X-Wen.

I am no stranger to the Shiseido White Lucent range of products. As the Intensive Spot Targeting Serum has been launched for a year and has received much accolades from various magazines, Shiseido is doing a promotion at the beauty booth during these two weeks.

I started off with a quick skin check, followed by a facial with the full SWL range products. After cleansing and softening, the beauty consultant applied the serum, followed by the White Lucent Intensive Brightening Mask. I was told that if we would like to apply the mask at home, we should also apply the serum on the face first before adding the mask. Subsequently, my beauty consultant used the White Lucent massage cream and gave me a really satisfying face massage.

After a great pampering on my face, I proceeded to the next counter for my Shiseido makeover!

X-Wen was already doing her make-up! Do you spy the massive collection of Shiseido and Maquillage cosmetics at the counter?

My makeover! I love Shiseido’s makeover because somehow, it looks natural and feminine on me. You can refer to my previous makeover with their Spring 2010 colours here.

Colours that were used:

  • Shiseido White Lucent Makeup Base – Comes in 3 shades, I used the Ivory shade
  • Shiseido SMK Concealer
  • Maquillage Liquid Foundation – I used number 00
  • Shiseido SMK Blusher WT905 – This is a white blusher which works as a highlighter. I learnt that I could use it as a loose powder for the face over my liquid foundation to highlight my complexion
  • Shiseido SMK Blusher OR308 – This is an earthy orange shade which actually looks natural on my skin tone
  • Shiseido SMK Eye Palette PK402 from the Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection
  • Shiseido Nourishing Mascara Base and Perfect Mascara Defining Volume – Interestingly, this mascara didn’t look clumpy on my lashes when applied by the beauty consultant. I learnt that we should apply it with a zig-zag motion. Another tip I gathered from my own experience is to apply the mascara immediately after the mascara base. It reduces the clumping by heaps but retain the voluminous effect!
  • Shiseido SMK Lip Gloss PK303 – I own the same lip gloss in the same shade. This is my HG lip gloss.

Both of us after our makeover!

The promotion is now on till 13th January 2011 (Thursday). Simply purchase a Intensive Spot Targeting Serum to receive a Brightening Facial and Complete Makeover. You can call Shiseido counter at TANGS Orchard (6733 2589) now to make an appointment.

Can’t end the post without a “traffic-stopping” photo in front of the booth. Thanks Shubeedoo for helping us take this picture, as well as stopping human traffic! 🙂
