The benefits of online shopping is not only about the potential cost savings, but also the uniqueness of the items as some of them are not available back home. I have put together some interesting gifts you can purchase online for your significant other. If you need some tips on online shopping, please read my 101 and 102 entries.

1. Net-A-Porter

I used to have this impression that the stuff at NAP are very expensive since it is always well-stocked with designers’ items. This is actually not true, as I managed to find some affordable Valentine’s Day gift items from the website!

Smythson “Be Mine” Leather Notebook, £29.79 – You may be a man/woman of very few words, so just a gift with this simple message could help you communicate your thoughts and feelings.

A.P.C Heart Cotton Jersey T-shirt, £42.55 – This girl’s tee can be good gift for our fellow gal pals too! After all, Valentine’s Day is also a day to celebrate friendship!

Mulberry Leather Heart Key Fob, £42.55 – I love this adorable key fob and it comes in such a sweet shade of pink. This is another simple, yet lasting gift since it is made of leather.

2. Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters not only have a very extensive selection of apparels and accessories for boys and girls, they also have a really neat home & decor section.

Love Sign Pillow Case, US$34 – Can you tell that the hand signs are forming the letters L-O-V-E?

Giant Magnetic Chalkboard Heart, US$36 – This is a great addition to your home. You can use this chalk board to pen down your daily love notes.

Heart Bamboo Spoon, US$8 – UO actually stocks several heart-shape kitchen appliances but I would like to recommend the bamboo spoon because not only can it be used for cooking or serving, the bamboo used to make the spoon is environmental-friendly. You can buy dozens of these to use at home! :)

3. Philosophy

Philosophy is not available in Singapore, but you can purchase it on Philosophy.com or Sephora.com. The products received a lot of raves online and their packaging is really suitable for the occasion. Just a note, we are not allowed to ship fragrances to Singapore, so just stick to bath gels or lotions.

“I think you are wonderful” shampoo, shower gel and bath, US$24 – Love the box, plus cherry and mandarin orange sounds/smells great.

“Falling in Love” shower gel, US$22 (16oz) – It says “learn to deeply and fully cherish your heart, your soul and your body and, only then, will you understand what it is to truely love another.” Philosophical indeed.

“Sweet on you” shower gel, lip shine and body lotion, US$25 – I like this gift set the best because it is really value-for-money and apparently, the shampoo smells heavenly.
