Not long ago, I came across this mi adidas site which allows you to customise your adidas sports shoes or Superstar sneakers. I checked with adidas Singapore and found out that we do have mi adidas service over here, although it was meant for customising sports (or performance) shoes only.

Thanks to adidas Singapore, I had the opportunity to try out the mi adidas customisation service, and make a pair of one-of-the-kind sports shoes for myself!

The mi adidas service is available in Singapore since 2005, and by today, there are more than 10 different shoe ranges available for customisation!

The aim of this service is to create the most suitable shoes for your feet and provide the best comfort for your workout. But of course, I was more thrilled to be able to introduce my own preferred colour combination and create a pair of sports shoes that would not be available off the rack.

Here is the price list for mi adidas:

Running:

1. Mi Microbounce – S$239
2. Mi Supernova – S$239 (Ending May-11)
3. Mi adiZero Adios – S$239

As mentioned at the beginning of the post, we can only customise sports shoes here, at the adidas store in The Cathay. If you would like to customise adidas sneakers, you can do so at the adidas Originals Concept store in Hong Kong (Shop B, 6 Kingston Street, Causeway Bay). Note that if you are customising sports shoes in Hong Kong, you will need to go 17 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui.

To go for a mi adidas consultation session, you can book an appointment with adidas Cathay at +65 68875632. While each session takes about an hour, you can speed things up by checking out your preferences at the mi adidas website.

Finally… here are the pictures of my customised adiZero Adios shoes!

I honestly think these lovelies are going to be my motivation to exercise more. I know I sound so shallow but isn’t it cool to wear your own “design”? And beware, it can be kinda addictive… I wanna customise a pair of adidas Originals sneakers in Hong Kong now!
