In April’s issue of Singapore Women’s Weekly, there is a section for Beauty Addicts to share their favourite beauty products. The writer interviewed several beauty gurus such as make-up artists, hairstylists, celebrities, bloggers, models, fashion and beauty buyers etc. And I am honored to contribute my views to this feature!

Here are the items, quotes on the magazine and links to my respective blog reviews on the products. (Click on the graphic for the image of the full page)

1. Elizabeth Arden Pure Finish Mineral Foundation

Recently, I have also fallen in love with the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Skin Smoothing Concealer. I think you only realise how good a concealer is when you have bad skin. My skin hasn’t been in its finest condition because of my frequent travel and this concealer is almost my godsend! It provides a smoother finish and covers my occasional bumps rather well as compared to some other liquid concealers that I have tried. Available in 4 shades, S$39 for 5.5ml size.

2. Clarisonic Brush

3. Shiseido White Lucent Spot Targeting Serum

4. SK-II Facial Treatment Masks

I have never posted my review on the SK-II masks but indeed, I love them so much because of the quick results that they deliver. They leave my skin hydrated, supple and more radiant! I would even massage the essence from the mask on my face after I remove the sheet to make sure that I do not waste any Pitera. While I agree that the Facial Treatment Essence, which I am also a regular user of, is a great product, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce the Facial Treatment Masks, which I see more of a “quick-fix”. To get the masks at a better discount, you can get the 10-piece pack from the airport or on flights at about S$120+.

5. Clarins Barocco Face Palette

It’s a pity that this item was not included in the feature. But here’s a glimpse what I contributed to the writer:

I got to admit what I love most about this product is its luxurious packaging. The face powder is presented in an exquisite gold casing with embossed black scroll pattern, together with a deep red velvet case.  The powder also boasts a similar scroll motif as the casing, and has a lovely peach shade that works well for me as a blusher. I love its smooth texture and light shimmer, which helps to illuminate my cheeks.   If you are looking for a lovely gift – be it for yourself or for your close girlfriend – the Barocco Face Palette is definitely your best bet.

Now you know which are my favourites! What about yours?
