Look away if you have busted your shopping expenditure for the next few months. We had witnessed a lot of temptations recently – from the most recent ideeli sale to Zara Spring collection, Shopbop Bridal, H&M Glamour Collection and Target Go International Collective. Come April 13th, Macy’s will be launching their capsule collection designed by Matthew Williamson.
Priced from US$24 for a scarf and about US$99-119 for a dress, the capsule collection has an extensive variety of printed blouses, dresses, as well as leather and suede pieces. My knowledge of Matthew Williamson came from his collaboration with H&M and I think this Macy’s collection looks very different.
The Macy’s collection is more casual, flirty and fun. What remains the same is Williamson’s signature obsession with loud prints.
Some other product shots:
Blouse – US$59, Maxi dress – US$119
Jacket – US$119, Dress (looks like a top to me) – US$54
Dress – US$99 each

What do you think? I find myself drawn to a couple of dresses because prints and silk dresses are quite my thing! On another note, Karl Lagerfeld will be designing a capsule collection for Macy’s too, and this is likely to be launched in September. Can’t wait!
