During my last trip to Hong Kong, I had some free time and trotted around Noho and Soho at Central. It was a trepidatious experience because the floor was wet from a drizzle and I was walking up and down the slippery and hilly slopes. Nonetheless, I discovered a really neat home & decor store at Gough Street, named Homeless.

Homeless has several stores in Hong Kong – at Causeway Bay, TST and Shatin. But do make sure you pop by the one at Gough Street. The flagship store at Gough Street is located in the midst of some restaurantsand traditional cha-can-teng (Hong Kong cafes). Not only is the location quirky, they have several stores along the same street. I was literally store hopping! In addition, Homeless also runs a restaurant at the same street known as “Basement“.

Alright, this is not a table at Basement. It’s just a store display of all the furnishings available for sale!

Feels like a hidden treasure island with loads of interesting home wares to unearth.

Besides home furnishing items, Homeless also stocks some fashion offerings which are perfect for friends who love good design or have a decent sense of humor.

I couldn’t help but LOL-ed when I saw this paper watch at the cashier counter. It’s a simple digital watch, with the watch face wrapped with paper and the watch strap is made of paper. Your watch is your canvas. Haha!

At another Homeless store down the street, they stocked a range of eco-friendly bags made from rubber of used wheels. The bags were very sturdy and interesting.

Close-up of one of the bags. Will you carry this document bag?

I didn’t have a chance (or rather the guts) to take too many pictures of the store. But do drop by for a unique shopping experience at Noho and Soho whenever you are in Hong Kong!
