Before I get started, I just wanted to clarify that when I said “Shades”, I actually meant “Sunglasses”.

Taking a leaf off several celebrities’ books, colorful sunglasses is a way to add quirkiness to your outfits!

I was looking through the Spring/Summer collections of eye-wear and sunglasses from various brands and here are a few picks!

Carrera aviatar shades in pink/fuchia (Carrera 15)

You could even match your pink shades with your pink outfits like how Kate Walsh did.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Sunglasses in Acetate (MMJ 253/s)

Plain red rim shades are a popular choice, as seen on Paris Hilton (who, like Kate Walsh, matches her shades with her outfits too).  The MBMJ shades featured here is simply adorable with the striped prints in the inside, as well as the “Miss Marc” motif at the side.

D&G Sun Collection in Acetate (D&G 3076)

Ray-Ban Wayfarers in Typedelic (Ray-Ban 2140)

If red isn’t your colour, perhaps you could go for Orange or Blue acetate offerings from D&G and Ray-Ban respectively!

Ray-Ban Wayfarers in Rare Prints (Ray-Ban 2140)

Go for something quirkier by having printed frames like Drew Berrymore! There has been tonnes of such shades since last season and I have featured a few previously.

Gucci Large Square-Shaped Optyl Shades (GG3505/S)

Love the chromatic effects on the frames of this pair of shades. Optyl is a ultra light plastic material, so I presume this pair of shades is very comfortable for long hours of wear.

Miu Miu Retro Shades (SMU 07N)

If you are keen on printed frames, but not that big on loud colours, this Miu Miu shades look absolutely divine, like a snow leopard! The blue polarised lenses add an additional character to this pair of retro and unconventional sunglasses.
