I have been feeling quite good about my skin and my current regime and thought it would helpful to share the products I am using in a single post. Having gone through a rough patch in terms of my complexion (pardon the pun) last year, I am happy to see that my skin is regaining the smoothness and suppleness once again.

A brief introduction on my skin type – I have combination skin, whereby my T zone is rather oily but the other areas, in particular the cheeks and the under eye are rather dry. I have occasional acne problems, and due to age and probably lifestyle changes, my skin has become quite sensitive over the years and a slowdown in metabolism means that scars take much longer time to recover.

Toner – Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-free Toner (Alcohol free)
Serum – SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
Moisturiser – Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus With Antioxidant Complex Moisturizer
Eyecare – Shiseido White Lucent Anti Dark Eye Circles Eye Cream

As I have reviewed most of the products I am using, please click on the links for detailed information. Essentially, my morning skincare products are very lightweight, but they keep my skin supple and hydrated.

Mist – Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist

I spritz this in the afternoon to avoid drying at the cheeks and chin area, and to help retain the “freshness” of my makeup.

Toner – Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Oil-free Toner (Alcohol free)
Serum – Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum
Moisturiser – La Mer Moisturizing Gel Cream
Eyecare – Shiseido White Lucent Anti Dark Eye Circles Eye Cream

I received the Caudalie Vinoperfect Serum samples from Bellabox. I am in love with the texture, but it does take a while to see the effect of radiance or spot reduction. I wouldn’t purchase this once I have used up the samples.

As for the La Mer Moisturizing Gel Cream, I finally caved in and made a purchase. To date, I have not regretted this decision. The gel is easily absorbed, and has powerful healing effect as it repairs most of the stress or sensitive bumps I have on my skin occasionally.

Lip care – The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry Lip Balm
Sunscreen/BB Cream – Lancôme UV Expert GN-Shield BB Complete
Makeup remover – Bioderma Micelle Solution
Cleanser – Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective White Purifying Foaming Cleanser

The Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm was a surprise. I have very dry lips and this lip balm is not only delicious and fragrant, but quite moisturising too. As the Strawberry one has a tinge of pink colour, I now hardly wear lipstick or lip gloss on a daily basis.

Others (ii):
Exfoliator – Clarins White Plus HP Gentle Brightening Exfoliator (Use twice a week)
Masque – Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque (Use at least once a week)
Occasional treats – SK-II Facial Treatment Mask
Occasional treats – Fancl Beauty Facial Treatment

Now that I have completed my list, it seems like I am using so many products and all of them are from different ranges. I guess I am working on restoration at the moment, and not targeting any specific need. (And I can’t quite afford the entire La Mer skincare range anyway.)

Nonetheless, I am feeling good with my current regime as almost all the products I am using are very gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. If you have the similar skin type or problems as me, feel free to try parts of my regime.
