At my age, I have attended a good number of wedding parties in Singapore and sadly most of the time, the bridal looks are rather uninspiring. Don’t take this in the wrong way, all the brides looked radiant and ravishing, but the bridal style here often belong to the same mould: the standard strapless white tulle gown and the romantic chignon.

As such, I have consolidated different wedding hairstyles in this post as a moodboard for the brides-to-be. Darlings, go challenge your hair stylists!

Medieval and Romantic Up-dos

If you have long hair, you can break out of the standard romantic up-do by going medieval, flapper or bohemian!

Short-hair Brides

How often have you heard of brides-to-be who have to grow their hair for their wedding? If you sport a longer bob, or lob, you could do a Diva von Teese or Grace Kelly, or go wavy! In fact, shorter hair brides can accentuate their simple hair-do with bigger hair accessories or fascinators.

Which is your favourite bridal hair? Or are there any other bridal hair or looks that have inspired you?
