Montblanc will be showcasing the “Haute Joaillerie Exhibition Collection” in Singapore and one of the elegant jewellery on display is the Princesse Grace de Monaco Rose Glamour Necklace – a breathtaking piece with cascading diamonds and dazzling sapphires.
Being somewhat a hopeless romantic, I am enthralled by the story behind the elegant design. This jewellery collection relates to the late Princess Grace of Monaco, who met H.S.H. Prince Rainier of Monaco at the Cannes Film Festival in 1955 and they soon got married after a whirlwind romance. The Rose Glamour necklace features petal cut diamonds, as well as pink sapphires, resembling the pink rose. When Grace Kelly got married in 1956, the pink rose was created to commemorate her fairytale wedding.
The white gold bracelet encrusted with 34 diamonds and 31 pink sapphires, is no less resplendent.
The earrings in this collection feature two signature Montblanc diamonds cut in the shape of the brand’s “White Star” logo.
Rather than to gush at these pictures, the best way to admire these stunning and sophisticated pieces is to visit the exhibition at Montblanc Mandarin Gallery boutique from 29th June to 20th July. Check out stories of other jewellery featured in the exhibition on the blogs of Bagaholicboy, Fash-Eccentric and D For Dot.
As for me, I would love to be immersed in the beauty and grace inspired by Princess Grace of Monaco and who knows, I might even walk away with a fairytale romance too.
