I have heard a lot about Manicurious but have never been there before. A cozy little cafe, shop and nail spa all under one roof, Manicurious is tucked at Beach Road and not too far away from City Hall or Bugis MRT station.

I finally visited them last weekend with my friend to use up a voucher. Best decision ever!

Each treatment comes with a complimentary cup of beverage. Their coffee is from Papa Palheta, in my books this means quality caffeine fix.

There is a retail area that stocks items from Nooka, By Invite Only, The Little Drom Store etc. I was already eyeing some adorable rings from the Icing Gifts.

My new nail art! They have a wide range of designs for you to choose from. You can also bring along a photo to request for the same pattern, or even try to match your manicure with your outfit. While the whole manicure and nail painting process took more than 2 hours – due to the complexity of my chosen design – my experience was indeed a pleasant and relaxed one.

The store has a cafe section that only serves desserts and pies. Nonetheless, a tip here: the “zi char” (read: Singapore local Chinese food) stall at the coffee shop beside Manicurious serves delicious and economical comfort food.

Can’t stop admiring my nails now, truly.
