I bought this floral stripe cut-out sundress (S$96) from Topshop recently. This is how Topshop styled the dress, totally cool and breezy for the warm tropical weather here!

I had to get it after trying it on because everyone around me thought it was “so me” when I wore it out of the fitting room.

But of course, I had to make sure that I could milk enough mileage out of this dress. The plan was to make it work for the office (pun intended) and then transition with ease to the night.

For work: Wore a tank underneath to conceal the cut-out, and a thin skirt to increase the hem length. You could also pile on a jacket or cardigan if you need to cover up your arms.

For party: Remove the tank and the skirt, pile on some accessories and slather on some bright lipstick. Voila!

I am also on a lookout for a black lace tank to wear with this dress. Imagine having “lace panels” at the cut-out area – that would look quite good too, wouldn’t it?
