I find this showcase by the Australia-based designer particularly relevant – given that “The Great Gatsby” movie is out and glamorous flapper fashion is the hot topic in town recently.

To sum up, the Collette Dinnigan show was a romantic affair, accentuated by lace, leather and sequins. With loads of black, nude and white hues.

The more casual interpretations – but spot the intricate details on the blouse, skirt and flare silk pants!

Even the usual harsh leather looks softer and gentler with lace cutouts at the hem. Collette Dinnigan also has a couple of lovely white dresses that are perfect as bridal gowns.
