I know little about Zardozë except that it is set up in Singapore, and this is their first ever fashion showcase. The event was certainly a star-studded one. Celebrities spotted include Paul Foster, Linda Black and Olli Pettigrew, Choy Wan, Dick Lee and last but not least, Ruien and Fann Wong.

Indian model Nethra Raghuraman modeled the “diamond”dress” which features 130-carat diamond and is priced at S$500,000.

Glitz and gimmicks aside, the Panthea collection is the formal gown offering from Zardoze, which also has a RTW line. The dresses are dramatic but mesmerizing, with some designs reminiscent of the “Black Swan” film.

I think Zardozë Panthea looks promising. The label could focus more on well-priced occasion gowns, hopefully infused with some Asian elements. It would be great if they could aspire to be the Asian cousin of Marchesa.
