This June, makeup aficionados are set to go crazy with two special collaborations – Pierre Hardy for NARS, which will be released in 1 June and LancômeAlber Elbaz  that will be on sale from 15th June.

The Pierre Hardy for NARS collection consists of 5 pairs of nail polish shades and 2 special blush palettes.

This summer, Pierre Hardy introduces color palette that is inspired by his Summer 2013 shoe collection to the makeup collaboration. The 5 sets of nail polish duos are also specially packed in a small shoebox and dustbox, reminiscent of Pierre Hardy’s footwear packaging.

Each nail polish duo is priced at S$43 a pop.

In addition to the nail colours, there are also 2 special blush palettes – Rotonde and Boys Don’t Cry – that are embossed with Pierre Hardy’s signature cubic print.

A close-up of the Rotonde palette. The gold shimmers is an overspray, so this blush wouldn’t appear too glittery on the face. Each blush palette is priced at S$65.

Pierre Hardy for NARS is a limited edition makeup collection and will be available at Tangs Orchard from 1 June (tomorrow) onwards. 

Moving on, is another much-coveted collection from Lancôme, designed by Alber Elbaz aka Lanvin‘s artistic director.

The central theme of this collection is a Lancôme fashion show, featuring Alber Elbaz’s illustrations.

The “stars” of the Lancôme show are these three different Hypnose mascaras that are “dressed” in whimsical illustrations by Alber Elbaz. Each mascara will be priced at S$60.

There are also three iconic eyeshadow palettes (only two are featured in the photos). Each will be priced at S$90.

The collection also introduces Lancôme’s first foray into false eye lashes.

Three of the single eyeshadow colours had also undergone a face lift in this collection.

Contrary to Pierre Hardy for NARS, which features new colours, this Lancôme x Alber Elbaz focuses more on the super cute and fun packaging making the brand’s iconic products approachable and fun. Interestingly, Lancôme holds a special place in Elbaz’s heart.

“After school, I moved to New York, and every time I would go back home I would stop at Lancôme and buy my mom a gift. I have this kind of nostalgia and these kinds of memories about the brand,” he said.
