Suggestive name aside, Eat Me is somewhat like a secret corner waiting to be unearthed. Tucked in a little street named Soi Pipat 2 near Silom, keep a lookout for little white house adorned with lush greenery.

The first floor is the lounge and bar area, while the second floor is where the restaurant is.

The interior is very industrial chic. I found out that this trendy establishment is also an art gallery, showcasing different contemporary art pieces regularly.

Eat Me serves Western food with an Asian twist. The taste of the food matched the delicious setting, thankfully.

Indian Kedgeree rice with smoked cod, smoked ocean trout, tiger prawn and quails egg.

Tasmanian salmon steak with grapefruit and apple salad.

Sticky date pudding with hot butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice-cream.

The food was delicious. My main dish- the Indian Kedgeree rice was not too overpowering and blended nicely with the seafood. I regretted not ordering the fresh raspberry and coconut salad as dessert though because it would have been lighter for the stomach. The sticky date pudding was delightful, but a bit too heavy for me.

If you are looking for a hip, less local restaurant with great ambience in Bangkok, I would recommend you to pay Eat Me a visit. Just make sure that your dinner companion doesn’t take the restaurant name too seriously though…
