The Alloway Studded shoes (which both of us were wearing) has a suede exterior with gold hardware all over. The interesting bit is the inner suede lining and sheepskin insole. The sheepskin material has been the key reason that drives UGG Australia’s popularity all this while. I am glad that this feature has been incorporated to the loafers too – it feels like you are walking on a rug all the time! Available in 4 colours, I opted for black which would be an easy addition to all casual outfits.
All the four colours of the Alloway Studded shoes!
Comfort and practicality are key. I could see how a pair of well-made UGGs would work very well especially at colder climate – such that even Vogue.com issued thumbs-up to their traditional shearling boots recently. The loafers and flats are practical for Singapore’s weather, except for the monsoon season where you should really keep all your suede shoes away from the rain.
Back to the new store in Singapore, here’s a preview of what you will be able to find at UGG Australia’s flagship store at Ngee Ann City B1.
