This was what I wore on the first day of Chinese New Year, otherwise known as “Spring Festival” as it marks the first day of the Lunar Calendar, and the first day of Spring season.

Nonetheless, the unique colours of the cheongsam dress is reminiscent of Autumn, don’t you think?

I opted for a men’s leather clutch to inject a wee bit of masculinity into this otherwise very feminine outfit. I love the whole blend of orange, purple and brown shades. How would you have paired the dress with?

Today’s the last day of Chinese New Year, and it is also Valentine’s Day. Enjoy the last bit of this very festive season, and have a prosperous year of the Horse.
