I had the opportunity to preview Montblanc’s upcoming new pieces at their media event last week. I have been on a look out for an entry level watch for a while and suffice to say, I spent most of the time at the event admiring Montblanc’s new timepieces.
There were several pieces from the Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage collection, which is inspired by the brand’s signature writing instrument Meisterstück that boasts a ninety-year heritage. I love the simple, elegant and classic design.
Montblanc Meisterstück Heritage Perpetual Calendar (left). A perpetual calendar tracks the day, date and month and typically only needs to be adjusted once per century. As a result, the mechanism is complicated and is demanding on the skills of the watchmakers. Montblanc’s Heritage Perpetual Calendar is also priced at an attractive range vis-à-vis similar offerings from competitors.
If you are looking for something more basic, I think these variations from the Heritage collection would interest you. Gold, or steel? Bracelet or leather?
The Timewalker Extreme Chronograph DLC. The Timewalker collection, one of Montblanc’s most successful watch collections, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. This new Timewalker watch features a textured leather wristband.
There is also the Star Classique watch for the ladies, with Mother of Pearl dial.
Another Star Classique bracelet watch that is adorned with diamonds.
