I took a double-take when I saw this series of images. IS THIS COACH?

Under the helm of newly appointed British designer, Stuart Veers, you see a consistent edgy contemporary style in his first bag collection for the American brand. I think the above picture (and bag) resembles a bit more of Mulberry as compared to Coach in terms of style and execution.

A closer look at the Rhyder bag, which is the star of this season’s collection.

Another version – the Shearling Rhyder Crossbody that comprises of shearling, suede and pebbled leather, absolutely suitable for the wintry season.

What do you think of the new collection, in particular the Rhyder bag? I appreciate the rejuvenated Coach style as well as the deviation away from the traditional, classic designs that the former leadership was focused on. It feels like a breath of fresh air, and might be helpful in attracting younger fans to the brand.

I look forward to see what other ideas Mr Veers has up his sleeves for the Spring/Summer season next year. Thoughts?
