If you ask me if there are any cute, new or innovative beauty finds recently, I would refer you to these adorable little cubes from Peter Thomas Roth.

Each box of Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-tox De-puffing Eye Cubes comes with 6 little tabs of liquid, which you should leave in the freezer to freeze them into ice-cubes. Each pack also comes with 6 gauze satchets reminiscent of teabags.

Pop one cube into the gauze bag

Place the bag around the eye contour in circular motion. Do the same on the other eye. You only need one cube for both eyes.

As the product starts melting, the liquid might drip onto the skin. Simply pat the product into your skin with the fingers.

It’s a cute way to pamper your eyes, isn’t it?

The “Eye Cubes” contain a mixture of cucumber, arnica, green tea, chamomile, aloe vera, caffeine and hyaluronic acid. Coupled with the ice-cold sensation, it is indeed a very relaxing treatment for our peepers. I could feel the caffeine at work because my lethargy dissipated instantly after the treatment. Naturally, the cold temperature, coupled with cucumber extract and aloe vera helped to de-puff the eye area immediately.

At S$120 a box, this is definitely a pricier eye treatment option where the fun and novelty outweighs its effectiveness. That said, I am thinking of keeping these in the office fridge… just in case I need that AWAKENING after lunch time….

The Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox De-Puffing Eye Cubes are available at Sephora stores.
