Yes yes, other than the Hermès Leather Forever Exhibition currently happening at the ArtScience Museum, the Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition also opens at Marina Bay Sands this weekend.

What does Series 3 mean? This is an exhibition that traces Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière’s third collection for the house.

“Series 3” is a sensorial journey that ventures deep into the designer’s soul and “an adventure along the emotional corridors of Louis Vuitton”.

The exhibition comprises of different rooms with a different theme. In the above titled “Master Mind“, the centre piece is a Louis Vuitton trunk that projects Nicolas Ghesquière’s creative process and inspirations.

“Artists’ Hands” feature many tables with screens showing the craftsman’s hands at work creating Louis Vuitton’s new classics, La Petite Malle and the Dora. You could take a seat, place your hands under the table and take a snapshot of yourself posing as a LV artisan.

The “Accessories Gallery” is one of my favourite room. It is so sparkly white that you can’t stay in this room for too long but this is the perfect background to showcase all the accessories from the House’s Autumn-Winter 2015/2016 collection. The room also features  Nicolas Ghesquière’s muse, Marte Mei van Haaster.

And of course, you will get to witness the Louis Vuitton artisans making the La Petite Malle right in front of you. Experience the intricacy of this handmade beauty and you could also interact with them.

The exhibition would end at a lounge where guests will be able to pick up a little memorabilia from the exhibition.

Excited? You could book your appointment on this website to skip the queue at the exhibition, although walk-ins are allowed. The Louis Vuitton Series 3 Exhibition can be entered from the B2 entrance of the erstwhile Pangaea/Avalon (near Todai restaurant and TCC). The exhibition runs now and will end on 23 December 2015.
