The three stripes mark is probably synonymous to the adidas brand. While the brand’s offering has evolved over the years and through different collaborations, the iconic adidas Originals range had withstood the test of time and remain fashionable and trendy today.

I was invited to adidas Originals “Create your own Legacy” event a couple of weeks ago at Marina Bay Sands. There were several familiar designs, such as the track suit with three stripes which was recently popularised again by Sue Sylvester. I was pleasantly surprised by plenty of everyday wear, as well as the adorable Jeremy Scott for adidas sneakers at the store!

The perils of fashion blogging is you get temptations everywhere, sometimes when you least expect it. I received photos of the latest Fall/Winter collection from adidas SLVR and kinda got mesmerised. Especially this Sateen Tux Blazer which literally had me at hello.

The casual chic line continues to offer elegant and stylish clothing options that are both sport-inspired and smart for occasions. And yes, adidas has extended from sportswear to spiffy everyday wear through this label .

Not long ago, I came across this mi adidas site which allows you to customise your adidas sports shoes or Superstar sneakers. I checked with adidas Singapore and found out that we do have mi adidas service over here, although it was meant for customising sports (or performance) shoes only.

Thanks to adidas Singapore, I had the opportunity to try out the mi adidas customisation service, and make a pair of one-of-the-kind sports shoes for myself!

The mi adidas service is available in Singapore since 2005, and by today, there are more than 10 different shoe ranges available for customisation!

I received the photos of two collections recently and I was impressed by how they combine uniqueness and wearability at the same time. For boys and girls who are trying to break out of the usual corporate wear, these can good choices for you to consider!

adidas SLVR

My impression of adidas has been limited to its sportswear. The SLVR label is a more classic and stylish line and I spied some pieces which the guys can wear to the office!

I was given an Adidas Seoul watch and a challenge to put together an outfit with the watch. The watch is huge and sporty, and the most obvious way to match the watch is with casual tee and jeans.

I wear dresses pretty often and thought I could attempt to match such watch with a dress. I found out that the watch goes well with many casual dresses. So, if you fancy colorful sport watches, go for it because they are relatively versatile and you don’t really have to dress like Missy Elliot to match your durable plastic wrist accessory.

<< The sports watch from Adidas Seoul collection. This collection was launched in conjunction to the World Cup 2010, The red watch with black and gold rim is supposed to represent the Germany team.

This is the expression when there is a goal.

This is what people do during half-time.

Dress: H&M| Frilly flats: Mossimo| Watch: Adidas Seoul

You can try and match the watch with a fitting black or grey tank dress. If you are adventurous, I think sports watch + vintage dress might make a refreshing combination.

I think pretty yoga/workout clothes had fast became more of a “need” rather than a “want” in my list of priorities. After all, these are clothes that I have to wear on a weekly basis and it is important to look good while working out!

(That means I may not be able to do a headstand at yoga, but at least I am dressed like a pro… )

Of course, when we talk about yoga or workout clothes, Lululemon comes to mind. The brand has set up two stores here in Singapore – Ion Orchard and Ngee Ann City where we can try out the beautiful tanks and leggings before making the purchase.

Are there other yoga clothing stores here in Singapore?

The short answer is yes – plenty and it all depends on your budget. Even the yoga studios here have a retail corner selling yoga clothes. I have came up with a list of 5 stores that boast beautiful and affordable yoga gear for your reference.

1) Forever 21

I have blogged about Forever21 sportswear extensively in a separate post. The stores here have sportswear corners that stock up some sports bras, tanks and tights. Prices are very affordable – ranging from about S$23 for a sports bra to S$49 for a pair of tights!

The quality, as I mentioned is decent and I love those sexy caged back sports bra! You need to be quick in spotting the designs and sizes though because the items, especially the smaller and more popular sizes get sold out very fast.
