Last week, I was invited to Moschino‘s Spring/Summer fashion showcase held at Paragon main atrium. The showcase featured several key pieces from Moschino and Moschino Cheap & Chic. I have uploaded most of the runway looks on my Facebook and for this post, I would like to put the focus on Moschino Cheap & Chic, which is a diffusion line of the brand.

I have been quite a fan of Rosella Jardini’s happy fashion collection and have gushed about her SS2011 collection. This year, the setting of the Cheap & Chic range has shifted to a farmer’s market, and as you would have expected, several pieces are inspired by fruits and vegetables!

This is inspired by a strawberry, although the black bead embellishments as seen in Milan Fashion Week last year are evidently missing.

I attended Kate Spade store opening party at ION Orchard last week. Whilst it was a rather star-studded event well attended by local celebrities and socialites, what I couldn’t get over was the lovely dress collection that the brand now has in store.

The store at ION Orchard consists of the entire range of apparels, jewellery, shoes and of course, bags from Kate Spade New York. The models were wearing items from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

It is not secret that when it comes to bags, I am a fan of substance – I mean, I am a leather lover. If you know of anyone who makes good leather bags, please let me know and I can consider marrying him. Nothing beats the touch of smooth leather and its understated appeal. Helps that bags in plain solid leather are not only durable, but they go well with a greater variety of outfits.

And therefore, it was considerably reasonable that I let out a little squeal in delight when Mulberry announced its latest bag icon – the Del Rey.
