If you are not sure where to go this weekend, perhaps you could do a little art exhibition hopping at these three mini exhibitions held at retail space.
1. “More Earth” Photography Exhibition by Wu Bai Leica Store at Raffles Hotel Arcade
Captured: Entrance to Kaoshiung. 一次在高雄拍到的高雄入口
14 black and white shots taken by Taiwanese rock musician Wu Bai will be on display at the Leica store from today till 2 December 2011. This is the first time that “More Earth” exhibition is seen out of Taiwan.
You have heard and read so much about H&M over here and finally, our common dream has come true! H&M’s first store in Singapore opens today at 11am. I was invited to the VIP preview yesterday and was immediately impressed by the huge store stocked with a wide variety of fast fashion goodness. Better still, the pricing is very very reasonable, as I had reflected in my earlier post.
A friendly shout-out forAction for Aids – there will be a flea market, La Flea Boutique, on 12th July, Tuesday 4-9pm atSpeakEasy. Proceeds from the sale will go to the charity organisation. There is an entry fee of S$5, which will be a donation to Action for Aids too.
Hi everyone! I’m finally back from my one-week trip in Beijing. I managed to visit the Louis Vuitton “Voyages” Exhibition at the National Museum of China and can’t wait to share with you pictures I took of the exhibition!
With the luxury brand’s 20th anniversary in China, Louis Vuitton presents its “Voyage” exhibition at the historical National Museum of China, which is located at the TianAnMen Square.
This is the 3rd year that I am selected as a finalist for the Singapore Blog Awards. The previous 2 years, I was chosen for the “Best Lifestyle Blog” category. This year I’m nominated in the “Best Fashion Blog” category instead!
I know some of you might have stumbled upon my blog via the awards website. Perhaps, I could take the opportunity to share 7 facts about MsGlitzy.com.
I was at the menswear showcase at Tangs Orchard over the weekend and caught sight of the latest Greyhound casual wear for the men. If you are not familiar with Greyhound, it is a trendy, high fashion label that hails from Thailand. Besides fashion, the brand also operates cafes in Thailand which you could find out more from Kevin of myMANyBags‘ contribution here.
Greyhound exclusively available at Tangs and besides casual menswear, they do have ladies wear too!
The second show that I attended at AFF this year was the Atelier Swarovski show, which was quite a pleasant surprise. The first segment was forgettable, but as the lights dimmed and cut-outs of white birds descended from the top, the show transformed to somewhat a mix of dream and glamor with the presentation of the luxurious “Wings of Fantasy” collection.
Here’s a video of the “Wings of Fantasy” runway show.
@gurlosophy so we haven't seen each others for 2 years already??? 12 hours ago
