A friendly shout-out for Action for Aids – there will be a flea market, La Flea Boutique, on 12th July, Tuesday 4-9pm at SpeakEasy. Proceeds from the sale will go to the charity organisation. There is an entry fee of S$5, which will be a donation to Action for Aids too.

7 CommentsI was at the menswear showcase at Tangs Orchard over the weekend and caught sight of the latest Greyhound casual wear for the men. If you are not familiar with Greyhound, it is a trendy, high fashion label that hails from Thailand. Besides fashion, the brand also operates cafes in Thailand which you could find out more from Kevin of myMANyBags‘ contribution here.
Greyhound exclusively available at Tangs and besides casual menswear, they do have ladies wear too!
Comment?The second show that I attended at AFF this year was the Atelier Swarovski show, which was quite a pleasant surprise. The first segment was forgettable, but as the lights dimmed and cut-outs of white birds descended from the top, the show transformed to somewhat a mix of dream and glamor with the presentation of the luxurious “Wings of Fantasy” collection.

2 CommentsThere was no surprise at the Erdem show last evening. The showcase was quietly stunning, mysterious and elegant. While I have gone through every single runway outfit on Style.com prior to the show, I still felt somewhat awed by the showmanship once the strum of violin began and the models started sashaying in flowy dresses with abstract water-colour prints.
The 4th level of Tangs Orchard has been transformed to a local fashion haven for a week. Collections from local designers such as Chalk, Yumumu, Own Muse, Peter Kor and Hansel are available at Style Space on 4 (the fourth level of the departmental store) from now till 22nd May 2011. On Friday, there was a short fashion show to showcase designs from these local labels.
