I have covered plenty of designer collaborations on MsGlitzy.com, but I noticed that Macy’s Impulse collection hardly get that much attention from fashion(or budget)nistas, as compared to the Target or H&M collaborations. The launch of Alberta Ferretti for Macy’s slipped past my radar last month. But fortunately, there’s still time to shop if you are interested in the feminine occasion frocks by the Italian designer.

With the sweltering heat comes a reminder that Summer is finally approaching. Has anyone booked your beach vacay?
Here are some recommendations for your new swim outfit that allows you to flaunt your sexy bod.

H&M 2-piece swim suit (Top: S$24.90, Bottom: S$17.90)
Forget about tan lines. The netted detail at the front of the bandeau bikini, together with the rustic tie dye print, exude tribal appeal in this very hot summer.

I am not sure how many of you remember those days when Coach’s designs were sophisticated and simple. I have reminisced about this when I visited their archives in New York last year. Having recognised their rich heritage, Coach relaunched some of their classics last year exclusively via Net-a-Porter.
If you missed them, don’t fret because these 4 designs from the 1970-80s are now available in Singapore for a limited time!

The Duffle in Vermillion – S$825
The Duffle was the height of chic in 1973, a de rigueur for New York fashion editors and stylish women everywhere. Made from the brand’s original Glove Tanned cowhide, this is a durable and spacious bag available in four shades here – Vermillion, Navy, British Tan and Black. A pity that the green “Olive Moss” shade is not available in Singapore.

Over the weekend, I spotted a really pretty Twig Ring while surfing and decided to go on a searching spree for other Twig Rings in the whole wide world.
I have managed to sift out a few exquisite gems (quite literally), and I can’t get over the amount of details that each ring boasts. Typically, such jewellery needs to be handmade by the designer to be able to craft out such details and texture of the branches.
I am not really a ring person yet I am truly mesmerized.

The Scallop Trim has been in the rage for a while. Mulberry calls it “cookie-cutter trim” but we know it’s about the same. The waved edge with a little eyelet adds very feminine touch to any outfit or accessories effortlessly. And other than apparel, the Scallops (or Cookies) have made its way to cute little crossbody bags!

Since I was in London, I thought I should visit my-wardrobe’s showroom to check out all the goodies they had in store. For those who are not familiar with this name, my-wardrobe.com is a London-based online boutique that sells designer fashion pieces and ships worldwide.
And boy, their showroom in Camden is literally every girl’s dream wardrobe with tonnes of irresistible clothes, bags and shoes to play with.

I have been thinking about this D&G Lily Twist Bag a lot recently. I simply love the bright zip compartments – and all my bags have to come with zips.
