Ooh yes, the big sale event is here again and it’s time to unleash our shopping prowess on Shopbop.com. The 25% off sale event is happening today (now) till Friday 2.55 PM (Singapore time)!
Here’s my shopping list at the sale – will have to grab these off the site soon before they are sold out because of faster fingers!
Haven’t been doing much accessory shopping recently? I noticed a number of new earring styles this season and it’s time to collect them if you haven’t!

Saw this and couldn’t help trying to find out more when I saw this on my email…
After all, who wouldn’t want a pair of jeans that could conceal the muffin top??
Spanx, best known for its shapewear – go check it out if you haven’t – have also a range of jeans that help to achieve slimmer silhouette. Launched since second half 2014, the jeans range now boasts several different fit and wash.
In conjunction with the Republic’s jubilee, many brands have launched commemorative items to celebrate SG50. After all, this is a great occasion to launch something special, limited edition and celebratory!
I like that some of the brands also donate part of the proceeds from the sale of these items to some nation-building initiatives.
We have probably waited for a long, long while for this. 4 years after setting up shop in Hong Kong, we finally have American Eagle Outfitters in our shores!
I remember dearly how I used join online sprees just to get a coveted polo tee or tank from AEO when I was in college.
College girls and fans of AE have it easy these days because the brand has set up its Singapore flagships store at Vivocity Basement 1!
Very emotive, don’t you think?
The above round retro glasses from Shanghai Tang (priced at S$530 a pair) take inspiration from 1960s Hong Kong, but has an added detail of the metal brow bar that in my opinion, is reminiscent of the tail-end of Qing Dynasty in China. Here, chinoiserie chic is infused with modern elements, such as mirrored lenses and tortoise frame to make the eyewear very relevant and on trend this summer.
Call it a retro revival, but round shades are all in the rage. Other than the above from Shanghai Tang, here are a few other rounded shades that you could place your paws on.
I had an accidental discovery while browsing Shopbop the other day. I stumbled upon some beautiful and affordable sneakers from Chicago label “BucketFeet”.
Similar to Threadless, BucketFeet welcomes artists to submit their artwork and selects the best works to be printed on sneakers, lace-ups and flip-flops.
I bought this pair of slip-ons designed by Elena Camps.
