Very emotive, don’t you think?
The above round retro glasses from Shanghai Tang (priced at S$530 a pair) take inspiration from 1960s Hong Kong, but has an added detail of the metal brow bar that in my opinion, is reminiscent of the tail-end of Qing Dynasty in China. Here, chinoiserie chic is infused with modern elements, such as mirrored lenses and tortoise frame to make the eyewear very relevant and on trend this summer.
Call it a retro revival, but round shades are all in the rage. Other than the above from Shanghai Tang, here are a few other rounded shades that you could place your paws on.
Target had a special preview for the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collaboration in New York City last week. Here’s a glimpse of the celebrities’ OOTD (outfit of the day) – most of them were dressed in pieces from this collection, of course!

I doubt this is even news as the lookbook has been making waves for a while.
If you are a fashion collabo fan like me, there is no reason to miss out on Phillip Lim for Target. Except – I have decided to go on austerity and probably have to stay away from clicking anything come 15 September 2013.
The collection’s bags for both men and women will be priced under US$60, and most other pieces will fall between US$20 and US$75.
Yellow is a primary colour, and has been swiftly identified as a key shade for the recent spring and summer seasons. You could integrate this trend in every aspects of your wardrobe, from big item to small details. And there are actually several shades of yellow that you can play with – from the soft pastel hue, fluorescent yellow to deeper mustard shade!

I invited Ms Chubby to the DKNY Jeans Fall/Winter 2010 Preview at Paragon this afternoon and here’s what we wore!
