In what seems like a “Korea Special” on this blog, I would like to share with you an interesting product from K beauty brand Laneige today. The Trouble Relief Cleansing Tissue is part of the brand’s “Trouble Relief” line, that was launched in January this year to target adult acne.

For those who have oily and acne prone skin like mine, clay masks are a must-have in our skincare regime. These kaolin masks, which usually contain Bentonite, Glycerin and Glycol, amongst other ingredients, help to cleanse and unclog pores, removing oil and impurities and therefore reducing the possibility of acne. Such products are usually recommended to be used only once or twice a week.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I experienced flare-up on my skin during my recent vacation in Greece. Those items that I brought with me were not solution for acne and I had to get something from stores there.

My first thought was Bioderma but unfortunately, local pharmacies did not stock up as much products from the brand as I wished and my next “port of call” was Avene. Avene is a French skincare range of products suitable for sensitive skin – and their prices are a lot more competitive in Europe as compared to Asia.

The latest member of the Creme de La Mer Moisturizing series, the Soft Cream is aptly positioned as an in-between. A softer and lighter version for those who are unable to accept the Creme’s thick consistency, the Soft Cream offers greater hydration properties for others who find the Moisturizing Gel Cream too lightweight.

Containing the same “Miracle Broth” that La Mer is famous for, the new Soft Cream is milky and fluffy, gliding easily onto the skin without having to “warm” them with your fingers as you would have done for the original Creme.

A while ago, I suddenly had a break-out on the right side of my face. And interestingly, the pimples were all concentrated at the same area.

This was taken at a Clarins event last year. I piled up on my makeup base and concealer but you could still see rough area at the side.
