The fingers are itchy and it feels like time to go checkout my imaginary shopping cart again – and well, attempt to turn dreams to reality.
If you haven’t been too adventurous with your outfits, a statement clutch is a great accessory inject some fun and personality. If you are meeting some new friends and have absolutely nothing to talk about, that statement clutch could be a starting point!
The conversation could go like this… “OH POLO is like my favourite mint! My mom used to feed me with that!” (and you start doing a little wave with your new Polo cylindrical clutch.
Sounds fun, isn’t it?
Ooh yes, the big sale event is here again and it’s time to unleash our shopping prowess on Shopbop.com. The 25% off sale event is happening today (now) till Friday 2.55 PM (Singapore time)!
Here’s my shopping list at the sale – will have to grab these off the site soon before they are sold out because of faster fingers!
I’m not sure if you have noticed, but one signature bag trend this Fall/Winter is the quirky designs inspired by food packaging. After all, who would be able to forget the loud statement Jeremy Scott made for Moschino earlier this year?
Recently, whilst doing my online window shopping, I stumbled upon the Kate Spade Hello Shanghai Takeout Bag, which essentially is a purse that takes the shape of the Chinese take-out boxes.
Fruits, boxy satchels in adorable pastels, 18th century paintings and even a timepiece. The latest Spring Summer collection from Anya Hindmarch is packed with a lot of exciting and whimsical elements.
Even its SS2013 show held in London last year was oozing with playful naughtiness. There was no hot model, but a giant paper carousel with moving cardboards and comical drawings depicting an 18th Century Georgian era.
Victorian lady in a shower? Saucy!
August was a pretty relaxed month with 2 public holidays. On the hand, I have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of September as I will be off to France for two weeks in the later part of the month!

A slew of foreign brands have set shop in Singapore and this includes British fashion label Anya Hindmarch, the woman behind the global sell-out “I’m not a Plastic Bag” tote bag in 2007. The brand now has a boutique at Takashimaya Departmental Store Level 2, that showcases its latest collection.
This Fall/Winter, expect a glittery and glamorous collection of adorable clutches that are reminiscent of Christmas party season.
