It’s finally the end of November. Can’t wait for my ski vacation, which is still… 1 month away.
I believe the fun part while prepping and anticipating for the vacation would be the shopping! The outfit planning, how to play up your fashion quota with ingenious mix-and-match ideas and of course, evaluating the quality of the winter wear that we are considering so that we would look good and feel toasty in the bitter cold.
For those who are going for a ski vacation in the coming months and have yet to start shopping, here are some suggestions.
I recently received the latest makeup items from Shiseido and Maquillage for Fall this year. Most of the new items this season are new colours to existing line, with the exception of the Shiseido Sheer and Perfect Compact and Maquillage Essence Glamorous Eyes!
Longchamp Autumn Winter collection this year is like a multi-faceted, transitional wardrobe. Named after the left bank and right bank of River Seine in Paris, “Rive Gauche” (left) is the fun, eclectic designs for the creative and bubby women, whilst the “Rive Droit” (right) collections are more elegant, sophisticated and sleek.
The new Le Pliage Heritage bags, which is a luxurious, structured version of the brand’s signature design. Very “Rive Droit” indeed!
This Fall, expect textures and sequins from H&M. If bling bling are not quite your “thing”, you could opt for the flowy, silky pieces that are perfect for early Autumn, or ideal for layering in Winter. Here’s a preview of what would be in store at the second half of this year.
The preview also offered a glimpse of H&M Studio Collection, which was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in February this year.
I had the opportunity to preview upcoming PUMA collaboration sneakers a couple of weeks back. These limited edition footwear will hit PUMA boutiques and authorised dealers here come July 2014.
McQ by Alexander McQueen: With previous successful collaborations with Alexander McQueen, PUMA has collaborated this time with the diffusion label McQ to present a range of footwear inspired by human anatomy. Featured above are some fierce wedges named the Leap made with soft Nubuck leather for the upper and plush leather overlays.
