I guess most of you are familiar with Blueprint by now. Blueprint Emporium is a shopping event where public can discover and shop from several emerging and established fashion brands – most of which have never been commercially available in Singapore before. This year, the shopping event will be held on 17-18 May at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre.

While counting down to the shopping date – which is just next weekend by the way – members of the public can preview the emerging designers and brands at Orchard Central Discovery Walk. This specially curated installation is known as BTW (Blueprint the Wardrobe).

I was invited to a preview of Blueprint Emporium last week. Blueprint Emporium is a shopping event where public can discover and shop from more than 180 emerging and established fashion brands – most of which have never been commercially available in Singapore before.

This year, the event will be held on 18-19 May at the F1 Pit Building.

A few days ago, I attended the Blueprint Trade Show and was impressed by the strong lineup of brands and emerging designers at the event. This was the first time I attended Blueprint, which is a mega showcase of more than 200 womenswear, menswear and accessory brands from around the world.

The good news is, you can buy items from these labels this weekend! And mind you, some of the brands are not retailing at Singapore at all.

Here are some snapshots to tantalise you with what’s in store.

The 4th level of Tangs Orchard has been transformed to a local fashion haven for a week. Collections from local designers such as Chalk, Yumumu, Own Muse, Peter Kor and Hansel are available at Style Space on 4 (the fourth level of the departmental store) from now till 22nd May 2011. On Friday, there was a short fashion show to showcase designs from these local labels.
