Before I get started, I just wanted to clarify that when I said “Shades”, I actually meant “Sunglasses”.
Taking a leaf off several celebrities’ books, colorful sunglasses is a way to add quirkiness to your outfits!

3 CommentsSince Chinese New Year is approaching, I have been on the lookout for a new cheongsam dress again. I might be late for the tailor but I reckoned that I might as well look around the web to seek inspirations for a newer and more refreshing design.
Here are some designs that I really like.. tell me what you think!
1. Asymmetrical hem
Given that the year-end party season is approaching, I have been searching for some makeup inspirations. Most of the time, we see runway looks or campaign photos from makeup brands which feature Caucasian models. The downside is, Caucasian women typically have more distinct facial features and what work for them might not necessary work for Chinese women.
So, I scoured around the web for makeup looks on Chinese female celebrities.

4 CommentsThe weather here has been so hot that I believe it crushes whatever sartorial inspirations one might have. Warm and bored, I started browsing those celebrities’ pictures to spy what they are wearing this summer. An initial collage was posted on my Facebook Fan Page (join us if you haven’t!) and it seems like yellow is a popular favourite colour!
Leighton Meester‘s summery yellow combination is interesting and very well-liked. This outfit is nicely completed with a pair of orange Brian Atwood pumps.
6 CommentsSo the Oscars 2011 ended with a bang and many celebrities turned up in really lovely dresses and very polished make up. I thought some of the Oscars looks make perfect makeup and hair inspirations for all of us – be it for wedding parties, dates or formal dinners!
Cate Blanchett keeping her makeup simple and elegant in order not to steal the limelight from her stunning Givenchy dress. Her light rose beige lip colour is such a understated but sophisticated colour.
