Being a paparazzo is tough job. Flanked by celebrities at the recent Coach Wisma Atria store opening party, my blogger instinct prompted me to go trigger happy. But boy, squeezing with the crowd and getting a decent shot is no mean feat. Nonetheless, it was a really fun party and I shall let the photos do the talking.
(PS: Don’t forget to check out the details of my Coach giveaway at the bottom of this post!)
Celebrity couple – Simon Yam and Qi Qi with the models.
Allow me to be brutally honest here. One big reason why I was at Avalon two Fridays ago, was to see Godfrey Gao in person!
As the ambassador of SK-II Men, the Taiwanese model-actor was in town to celebrate the launch of three men’s skincare products – Facial Treatment Essence, Moisturizing Cleanser and Moisturizer - in Singapore market.

I guess this doesn’t happen often – I am referring to the experience of shopping with 8 celebrities, and some 411 members from the media and public. At the back of my head, I was wondering what would I do if I were eyeing the same item as Rebecca Lim or Joanne Peh, and only 1 piece is available. But well, that’s a highly unlikely scenario considering that I am evidently 1 to 2 sizes larger than them.

We were among the first group to shop at the spanking new Uniqlo store – the largest in Singapore – at Bugis+ (formerly known as Illuma) during the preview party. The Mediacorp artistes were outfitted by Uniqlo.
The three stripes mark is probably synonymous to the adidas brand. While the brand’s offering has evolved over the years and through different collaborations, the iconic adidas Originals range had withstood the test of time and remain fashionable and trendy today.
I was invited to adidas Originals “Create your own Legacy” event a couple of weeks ago at Marina Bay Sands. There were several familiar designs, such as the track suit with three stripes which was recently popularised again by Sue Sylvester. I was pleasantly surprised by plenty of everyday wear, as well as the adorable Jeremy Scott for adidas sneakers at the store!
I attended Kate Spade store opening party at ION Orchard last week. Whilst it was a rather star-studded event well attended by local celebrities and socialites, what I couldn’t get over was the lovely dress collection that the brand now has in store.
The store at ION Orchard consists of the entire range of apparels, jewellery, shoes and of course, bags from Kate Spade New York. The models were wearing items from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Before I get started, I just wanted to clarify that when I said “Shades”, I actually meant “Sunglasses”.
Taking a leaf off several celebrities’ books, colorful sunglasses is a way to add quirkiness to your outfits!

Since Chinese New Year is approaching, I have been on the lookout for a new cheongsam dress again. I might be late for the tailor but I reckoned that I might as well look around the web to seek inspirations for a newer and more refreshing design.
Here are some designs that I really like.. tell me what you think!
