With Christmas round the corner, I have consolidated a few gift ideas that could help you with your shopping. First up, the Beauty edition for your girlfriends who are also beauty junkies!
You know how your skin has mood swings at times. Sudden purge of zits, or patches of redness and occasional bumps.. and you just don’t know why that happens and how to alleviate the situation.
There are skincare products in the market that target such “stressful” situations. If you are undergoing such a phase right now, you can consider some of these products.
I don’t use many oil-based products on my face given that I have rather oily and sensitive skin. Nonetheless, I have read a bit about the good benefits of natural oils and learnt that some oil-based products are good fix-it for the face, hair and body. If you are into more natural ingredients, you could consider using such products that are usually free of parabens and other radicals.
Most beauty oils are perfect as moisturisers, with some that are good as makeup remover or facial cleanser (just use one or two drops though). When used on the body, it could help to heal inflammation and improve hydration.
Here are three beauty oils that I would like to introduce in today’s post.

Woohoo, I’m on a roll because I finished up three beauty products recently. I can’t decide whether it’s good news for me when I have used up an item that I really like - it signifies time to make a new purchase…

We have now reached the FINAL giveaway! This week, Clarins is giving away 3 sets of their “Best of Whitening Travel Kit” worth S$107, as well as a 30-minute Skin Time one-on-one skin consultation.
I was going through my makeup collection, which has evidently ballooned over the last few years due to my alternative blogging “career”. I found possibly one of my oldest makeup items- a grand 8-year old – and I thought it would be fun to share little stories behind some of the cosmetics I own.
So, this post will be about my current blush collection. I believe I had more blush powders in my stash originally but I guess I had either finished a couple of the products and placed some of them in my office pouch or travel bag.

Having been informed of Clarins White Plus HP whitening range over the past few years, this year, the French brand has improved the formulation of their whitening range and the new range is known as “White Plus Total Luminescent“.
