This is my standard office look. It’s typically a silk top matched with a pencil skirt or tapered trousers, or a dress.

In the name of “research” for my burgeoning shopping list in Europe, I checked out Zara website and spotted a Chinese face for the August lookbook. Liu Wen, a fashion model who hails from Hunan province of China, looked impeccable in the feminine body hugging pieces, as well as the more androgynous apparels.
An elegant two-piece ensemble with delicate beaded details.
I have been on a lookout for smart and well-cut dresses to expand my “corporate” wardrobe. And since Kate Middleton has been wearing a number of sophisticated dresses (most of them are with three-quarter sleeves), I thought we could all take a leaf out of her book.

It’s St Patrick’s Day today, and just a couple of days ago, I dressed according to the color theme of this religious holiday in a shade of kelly green!

Having been a cubicle rat for several years, I have learnt that looking classy, fashionable and serious for the office is no mean feat. Many people often dismiss corporate wear as boring and stifling. Many ladies also stick to the safe haven – by wearing black most of the time.
Indeed, it seems hard to juggle sartorial sense when your professionalism is on the table but I thought it’s time all of us be inspired with our office wardrobe with reference from Olivia Palermo!
How to mix and match pants outfits: well-fitted blazer or a silk blouse?
I met X-wen at the Jimmy Choo Fall/Winter collection preview a few days ago and it was hilarious how we came in same colour combination without any warning.
Of course we had to take a picture together. I love her new pixie crop!
I was in my day-to-day corporate lady wear, although I must say I really love the shade of kelly green of my skirt. It is a stunning colour that goes well with different skin tones.

The perils of fashion blogging is you get temptations everywhere, sometimes when you least expect it. I received photos of the latest Fall/Winter collection from adidas SLVR and kinda got mesmerised. Especially this Sateen Tux Blazer which literally had me at hello.
The casual chic line continues to offer elegant and stylish clothing options that are both sport-inspired and smart for occasions. And yes, adidas has extended from sportswear to spiffy everyday wear through this label .
