I recently read “Hard Truths to Keep Singapore Going” by Mr Lee Kuan Yew. I’m quite ashamed that I bought the book when it first launched in 2011, only to had it gather dust on my bookshelf. I am glad that I eventually picked it up again 4 years later and I am in awe with the deep insights and candid views of our first Prime Minister.
I was amused by his comments on the ostentatious display of wealth and wanted to share with all of you. Admittedly, it does appear contradictory to post this up since this is supposed to be a fashion blog.

No, I am not a big fan of jogging but I do try to jog regularly to keep myself healthy and fit.
And the extra push away from the inertia to get out for a jog would be a pair of pretty running shoes (and perhaps loads of pretty sports outfit too).
Perhaps the stars were aligned a tad late – but better than never – I just discovered the Nike Flyknits!

Today is Day 1 of AFF and I thought it would be fun to do a little flashback of our outfits since the first AFF feature that appeared on MsGlitzy.com in 2009. My friends and I bought tickets to the closing show that year – Vivienne Westwood Anglomania.
Yes! That was me and two pals in 2009. You could read about the outfit post here.
Could 3 times be a charm?
This is the 3rd year that I am selected as a finalist for the Singapore Blog Awards. The previous 2 years, I was chosen for the “Best Lifestyle Blog” category. This year I’m nominated in the “Best Fashion Blog” category instead!
I know some of you might have stumbled upon my blog via the awards website. Perhaps, I could take the opportunity to share 7 facts about MsGlitzy.com.
Last weekend, I attended Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2011 Party at Reflections @ Keppel Bay. A showflat was transformed to a party venue complete with a runway for the models to sashay in Gucci’s latest collection.

I met up with the fashion bloggers for some lovely dim sum lunch last weekend. Wow, everyone turned up in their latest acquisitions and all of them looked fabulous. I am attempting a Jak & Jil here, posting bits and pieces of some of their outfits. Let’s guess who’s who – and answers are at the bottom of the post.

Today, we are going to have a peek at Kevin‘s Christmas wishlist! As many of you know, Kevin is the man behind MyMANyBags and he indeed has an enviable collection of bags, clothes, shoes, accessories etc etc. This man has everything. What else does he want for Christmas??
Thanks Ms Glitzy for inviting me to guest blog on MsGlitzy.com. As all of you know, I am Kevin, art director by day and blogger by anytime on myMANybags.blogspot.com. My passion is for fashion and all things that make the world a prettier place to live in, especially good design.
I was asked to picked 3 items or experiences for my Christmas wishlist this year. I must admit, I am greedy… 3 things are not enough!:-) But after much pondering, I finally decided these are my picks for this coming Christmas.
