I initially wanted to sell this Peter Pilotto for Target dress because it runs a tad big. But.. I decided to keep it anyway.
And now this beauty is going on clearance at Target website. The woes of fast fashion!
I chose to cinch the dress with my own belt instad to create at more fitted silhouette, and topped the look off with a orange-red lipstick.
The exciting part about owning an item from a fashion collaboration – which is usually highly coveted – is to see how everyone else in the world wear the same piece. I mean, #peterpilottofortarget already has close to 7000 #OOTD photos on Instagram. I rounded up my favourite photos of others wearing this same dress – it’s interesting how different people interpret the same apparel differently!Comment?
The first post on this coveted collection, which featured some lookbook pictures from an Instagram account, showed a glimpse of the colourful pieces. Finally, the official embargo has been lifted and the official lookbook images have been released.

It has been a while since I got this excited about yet another designer’s collaboration. But how not to feel hyper when you see a photo like this… and you know that you could afford them?Comment?
With 14th November looming near, fashionistas all over the world are probably waiting in anticipation to viewing the pieces from Isabel Marant pour H&M collection – to get a sense of the texture, the fabric, the overall feel.
I was invited to H&M showroom for the preview and I love the hippy and free-spirited collection reminiscent of the French bohemia. There is something covetable for the women, the men and the girls and boys. And you might even want to consider buying items from the kids collection in larger sizes.
For the photos of the preview, please refer to my Facebook album here. There was a massive party organised by H&M in Paris a while ago and several celebs turned up dressed in Isabel Marant pour H&M.
January Jones and Freida Pinto. Freida Pinto wears an embellished jacket (S$549) – the priciest piece in this collection, i.e. everything is below S$549 – and a printed silk skirt that will be priced at S$119.Comment?
As much as I would like to whine about designer collaboration fatigue, I have to admit that the lookbook from Isabel Marant for H&M collection did made my heart skip a beat.
The design stays close to Isabel Marant’s regular line – the signature French effortless chic with an airy and lazy casual vibe. Apparently, Marant paid a lot of attention to the fabric used for this collaboration to make sure that the lower-priced range with H&M does not compromise on quality.Comment?
