With 14th November looming near, fashionistas all over the world are probably waiting in anticipation to viewing the pieces from Isabel Marant pour H&M collection – to get a sense of the texture, the fabric, the overall feel.
I was invited to H&M showroom for the preview and I love the hippy and free-spirited collection reminiscent of the French bohemia. There is something covetable for the women, the men and the girls and boys. And you might even want to consider buying items from the kids collection in larger sizes.
For the photos of the preview, please refer to my Facebook album here. There was a massive party organised by H&M in Paris a while ago and several celebs turned up dressed in Isabel Marant pour H&M.
January Jones and Freida Pinto. Freida Pinto wears an embellished jacket (S$549) – the priciest piece in this collection, i.e. everything is below S$549 – and a printed silk skirt that will be priced at S$119.

As much as I would like to whine about designer collaboration fatigue, I have to admit that the lookbook from Isabel Marant for H&M collection did made my heart skip a beat.
The design stays close to Isabel Marant’s regular line – the signature French effortless chic with an airy and lazy casual vibe. Apparently, Marant paid a lot of attention to the fabric used for this collaboration to make sure that the lower-priced range with H&M does not compromise on quality.
Target had a special preview for the 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target collaboration in New York City last week. Here’s a glimpse of the celebrities’ OOTD (outfit of the day) – most of them were dressed in pieces from this collection, of course!
Jessica Alba with Phillip Lim and Solange Knowles.
For those who have visited New York City, you probably wouldn’t miss Dylan’s Candy Bar. I remember it to be a real candy heaven, even the staircase of the store is filled with sweet treats!
Founded by Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph Lauren (yes, the fashion designer) – Dylan’s Candy Bar has recently collaborated with LeSportSac to bring a piece of sweet happiness to your arm candy – quite literally.
Dylan Lauren was in town recently to launch this bag collection at LeSportSac Ion Orchard.
I doubt this is even news as the lookbook has been making waves for a while.
If you are a fashion collabo fan like me, there is no reason to miss out on Phillip Lim for Target. Except – I have decided to go on austerity and probably have to stay away from clicking anything come 15 September 2013.
The collection’s bags for both men and women will be priced under US$60, and most other pieces will fall between US$20 and US$75.
If you are expecting me to say something rational and intelligent about this collaboration, sorry to disappoint you.
OMG, the shades are so cool, so pretty, I want! *cross my heart*
I am definitely late in the blogosphere to break you the news of this special collaboration between Karl Lagerfeld and Tokidoki.
But to give myself some credit, it’s better late than never right? You can still grab this covetable iPhone case today from Net-a-Porter.
