Inspired by New York’s Chelsea Hotel, DKNY Jeans latest collection is casual, comfortable yet eclectic and creative. Honestly, I have a couple of apparels from DKNY Jeans previously and both of them are quite preppy – very different from this Fall/Winter collection.

The main atrium of Paragon Shopping Centre was transformed to the hip Chelsea neighbourhood , with models looking young and carefree in the brand’s key offerings.

Purple. Animal Prints. Gold and Glitter. This was Mulberry’s interpretation of “Naughty Royalty” as observed at last night’s Autumn/Winter 2010 party. Held at Tanjong Beach Club, models strutted down the poolside runway with latest designs from the luxury English label.

Local jeweller Goldheart collaborated with local fashion designer Keith Png to present the “Sparkle with Glamour” fashion show at Singapore International Jewellery Show last Saturday.

For the occasion, Keith Png specially designed four dresses to complement the four exquisite showpieces from Goldheart.

GLAM CHIC

The statement necklace consists of purple amethyst, rose quartz, diamonds and rose gold (S$69,278).

It was a showcase of the Spring and Fall 2010 collection, fronted by Singaporean model Sheila Sim and Korean model Song Kyunga. For the lack of better word, the gowns were simply beautiful.

Sheila Sim looking gorgeous in the violet origami gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

More dream-like gowns complete with drapes and embellishments.

Wedding gown inspirations.

On the left, Georgina Chapman was apparently inspired by Madame Butterfly when she designed this black gown with violet embroidery (Spring 2010). On the right, the chiffon looks airy-fairy but the design exudes grunge (Fall 2010).

Sheila Sim and Song Kyunga closed the show.

If you are feeling rich, Marchesa is available at Tribeca.

And I assure you that I was trying to capture the gown when I took this picture:

Thanks to Samsung, I managed to get an invitation to the Marchesa show of the Audi Fashion Festival 2010.

I will post up pictures of the show soon but here’s what I wore.

Dottie and I bumped into Priscilla, the designer of Chalk. Priscilla, Angie (Dot’s friend) and I ended up sitting together at the show!

I was wearing a silk dress from Victoria’s Secrets (Moda International). Pumps from Mossimo and teardrop earrings (hardly visible) from Accessorize.
Dot and Priscilla were dressed in Chalk.

Angie (left) was very innovative because she cut an ex-boyfriend’s sweater into a cardigan. Raw hem + oversized look = Chic!

With Xwen and Valerie. Valerie is Singapore’s tallest female blogger. Miss Glitzy is probably number 2.

Fash-hagged Xwen looking great in BCBG! We met Malaysian bloggers Hanie and Joyce, who were invited by STB. It was great meeting both of you and hope you guys have a great time in Singapore!

Because I’m a UOB Lady’s Card holder and because I’m worth it, I was invited to the G2000 Winter Collection showcase at the newly-opened 313@Somerset store.

For the uninitiated, G2000 is an Asian brand famed for their business clothes and work wear. The piecess showcased at their fashion show would not really garner much oohs and ahhs but there were some corporate styles which I thought were good inspirations:

See, office wear can be interesting! I especially love the botton right green outfit. The furry scarf literally brightens up an otherwise very normal work outfit and the scarf looks comfortable for sunny Singapore.

For the men, you can be suave in purple!

Another takeaway from this event is that G2000 has some classic and well-made winter jackets selling at attractive prices. For those who are looking for a jacket for your upcoming winter getaway, you can visit the store at 313@Somerset and get 15% off using the UOB card!

I have uploaded all the styles from the fashion show onto my Facebook, so do take a look – I spent a lot of time editing the photos – and be inspired!
