After posting the ponytail and chignon hairstyle videos, I received some feedback that we should discuss how to style shorter hair length. And given that we are now at the year-end festive season, I have invited Stylistry to interpret possible party hair-dos for the bob style.
While I just had a hair cut and I am currently sporting a rather short bob now, I often envy how girls with long mane could sport those loose buns for a Grecian or Bohemian look.
In this video, we learn how to DIY a Chignon hairstyle. If the power ponytail hairstyle was level 1, I think the difficulty level of DIY Chignon is about level 2 or 3. Take a look at the video and see if you are up for the challenge!
April marked the 2nd anniversary of MsGlitzy.com! If you haven’t filled in the survey, please do so – I would like to improve this blog for all of you!
[29 April 2011] Woo! Today is the #royalwedding! Thought I should post a collage of Prince William when he was at his prime… [link]
Reminiscing the good old days when Prince William was everyone’s prince charming..
Previously on MsGlitzy.com, we introduced one of the most popular runway hairstyles – the Power Ponytail.
With the help of my friends Mr Stylistry and Sgprincess, we have put together a video on how to DIY this hairstyle on your own. Trust me, it is kinda easy peasy.
Having seen so many “ponytail looks” on the runway recently, I’ve invited my friend Mr Stylistry aka the Hair Expert to share his views. Mr Stylistry, who works in the beauty industry and recently started a men’s style blog, is going to introduce us to the “Power Ponytail”!
Let’s face it. There isn’t much variety in the hairstyles that fashion designers send down the catwalk every season in the fashion capitals; save for the haute couture collections where they get a little more creative. New York, of them all, sends out models in the NYFW in either a ponytail, a chignon, pouffy hair, or a variation of one of them.
I guess everyone’s aware of Emma Watson’s new hairstyle by now. Love it or hate it, quite a number of stars went for the short crop this year such that the “pixie cut” could probably be one of the more popular hairstyles in 2010.
I really didn’t intend to write about Mrs Beckham or the Wavy Bob lest my readers get too bored with these old topics but I couldn’t resist posting these:
Mrs Beckham, who made straight short bob famous, has recently hit the new “wave”. Don’t you think the new hairstyle has somehow soften her personality and make her more feminine?
The waves is certainly here to stay in 2010. I’m so going to grow my hair a little longer and invest on a perm or better curling equipment!
Looking forward! RT: @paris_b: @msglitzy erm... feels similar to be honest :P Am planning to try both and see how they match up :) 1 hour ago
@paris_b yes! that's the one i was referring to! :) 1 hour ago
@paris_b how do you think it compares with shu uemura's BB mousse? 1 hour ago
