I found myself taken to the idea of building my own Pandora bracelet recently. I saw a friend wearing her bracelet full of charms and she started sharing the story behind each one.
“The ‘money bag’ charm was given to me by my colleagues on my last day at the department.”, she reminisced. She was moving to a front-line role.
That romantic idea of collecting stories on a single bracelet suddenly became very appealing to me – I am not sure what took me so long though.
Anyway for those who are looking at collecting new charms on your bracelet, here is a glimpse of what’s up next at the Pandora store near you.

After the “Gift For Him” post, here’s the “Gift For Her” entry. Don’t you think it’s so much easier shopping for the girl?
I have written a few posts on animal-related fashion such as this, this and this, but not once have I focused specifically on animal-inspired jewellery.
The spectrum is wide – you could look adorable with a pink smiley feline accessory, or “fierce” with a howling wolf on your finger, even mind-boggling with a bangle that featured two foxes kissing each other. In a way, your choice of accessories shed light of your personality and style before people get to really know you!

As a blog that attempts to propagate classy, wearable styles, I find it incredulous that I have never blogged about Grace Kelly. Perhaps she was way before my time, but this lady was the inspiration of the famous Hermès Kelly Bag, the Capri pants and the recent jewellery collection at Montblanc.
Grace Kelly (or Princess Grace after her marriage) through the years. It is uncanny to see how her elegant and timeless dress outfits are actually feasible even in the current era.
Montblanc will be showcasing the “Haute Joaillerie Exhibition Collection” in Singapore and one of the elegant jewellery on display is the Princesse Grace de Monaco Rose Glamour Necklace – a breathtaking piece with cascading diamonds and dazzling sapphires.
Being somewhat a hopeless romantic, I am enthralled by the story behind the elegant design. This jewellery collection relates to the late Princess Grace of Monaco, who met H.S.H. Prince Rainier of Monaco at the Cannes Film Festival in 1955 and they soon got married after a whirlwind romance. The Rose Glamour necklace features petal cut diamonds, as well as pink sapphires, resembling the pink rose. When Grace Kelly got married in 1956, the pink rose was created to commemorate her fairytale wedding.
If I was expecting anything fantasy and ethereal at the Swarovski show, I was so wrong! This year, the Swarovski team introduced the setting of a rock concert, complete with a live band and a slew of statement, modern pieces. Accompanied by the powerful vocals of Vanessa Fernandez and her band, the audience was treated to a visual and musical feast.
The show started off with some sleek and sharp looks, and gradually intensified to a dramatic presentation as the show continued.
