It was a showcase of the Spring and Fall 2010 collection, fronted by Singaporean model Sheila Sim and Korean model Song Kyunga. For the lack of better word, the gowns were simply beautiful.

Sheila Sim looking gorgeous in the violet origami gown from the Spring 2010 collection.

More dream-like gowns complete with drapes and embellishments.

Wedding gown inspirations.

On the left, Georgina Chapman was apparently inspired by Madame Butterfly when she designed this black gown with violet embroidery (Spring 2010). On the right, the chiffon looks airy-fairy but the design exudes grunge (Fall 2010).

Sheila Sim and Song Kyunga closed the show.

If you are feeling rich, Marchesa is available at Tribeca.

And I assure you that I was trying to capture the gown when I took this picture:

Thanks to Samsung, I managed to get an invitation to the Marchesa show of the Audi Fashion Festival 2010.

I will post up pictures of the show soon but here’s what I wore.

Dottie and I bumped into Priscilla, the designer of Chalk. Priscilla, Angie (Dot’s friend) and I ended up sitting together at the show!

I was wearing a silk dress from Victoria’s Secrets (Moda International). Pumps from Mossimo and teardrop earrings (hardly visible) from Accessorize.
Dot and Priscilla were dressed in Chalk.

Angie (left) was very innovative because she cut an ex-boyfriend’s sweater into a cardigan. Raw hem + oversized look = Chic!

With Xwen and Valerie. Valerie is Singapore’s tallest female blogger. Miss Glitzy is probably number 2.

Fash-hagged Xwen looking great in BCBG! We met Malaysian bloggers Hanie and Joyce, who were invited by STB. It was great meeting both of you and hope you guys have a great time in Singapore!

Audi Fashion Festival will be happening at Tent@Orchard (Ngee Ann City) this week from 28 April to 2 May!

Here are some of the key highlights:

DSquared2 (28th April, 7pm)

The festivity will be opened by the Fall/Winter 2010 collection of Canadian identical twins Dean and Dan Caten. The collection is dangerously packed with a lot of attitude, black and red.

Marchesa (30 April, 9pm)

Sandra Bullock wore a Marchesa gown at Oscars this year! The Marchesa show, presented by Samsung, will feature many pretty gowns. According to the press release, expect “elegant evening wear inspired by vintage and Asian influences, creating an eclectic European aesthetic that fuses high fashion with its beautifully crafted designs” on the runway. I’m psyched to be able to see these lovely works live!

Marchesa Spring 2010.

Marchesa Fall/Winter 2010.

House of Holland (1 May, 7pm)

I don’t know this European designer, Henry Holland, well but he does come up with eclectic collections of casual wear.

Fall/Winter 2010 (left) and Spring 2010 (right).

Judging from what the pictures of recent collections, I think the House of Holland show is going to be interesting and fun.

Roberto Cavalli (2 May, 8pm)

Roberto Cavalli’s Fall/Winter 2010 will close the AFF this year with a colourful note.

Get ready for prints, fur and bohemian!

So these are the 4 shows that I am excited about. What about you? Tickets to some of the shows are still available – check them out here!
