Yes! It is the time of the year again!
Christmas season where the weather in Singapore gets a bit chilly and wet… and all you would like to do is hole up indoor with a cup of warm cuppa.
And there, this signals the grand entrance of the Christmas brew.
Indeed, you can feel all Christmassy at home with the three Limited Edition Variations capsules from Nespresso this season.
Media parties rarely make appearance here on this blog anymore but when they do, they come in pairs.
Today, I am sharing some photos from two recent parties that I attended. One organised by Furla to celebrate the grand opening of its flagship store at Marina Bay Sands, and the other to announce the launch of Nespresso Pixie Clips.
Nespresso launched a new Grand Cru earlier last month. Named Monsoon Malabar, the flavour is named after the treatment method of the coffee beans – known as “monsooning”.
In a ventilated warehouses close to the sea on the Indian Malabar Coast, coffee beans are exposed to tropical monsoon winds for a period of two to three months.
Through this voyage, you will be able to experience the smooth texture and distinctive flavour of the Monsoon Malabar.
December is always the month for coffee catch-ups and it is also the month of the Festive Blend!
I always need a Toffee Nut Latte from Starbucks to remind myself about Christmas. This year, Starbucks launched a new festive beverage. The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has launched some new Christmas drinks as well.
Last but not least, Nespresso has also launched 3 dessert-inspired flavours for the season!

I learnt a new coffee recipe from Nespresso last week.
The Crème Brûlée Cappuccino, which has lightly burnt layer of sugar just like the traditional dessert.
