Let’s just say I was very, very privileged to be able to attend the Oscar de la Renta show this year at Audi Fashion Festival. It was a visual feast that would make every girl squeal in delight. All the models wore neat, feminine braids, and were donned in taffeta gowns with the most exquisite details – complete with matching accessories and shoes.
First, let’s see what goes on backstage!
Information of AFF 2014 is finally out. The event will be back at Tent@Orchard this year, from 14-18 May.
The event will open on 14 May with Prabal Gurung Fall/Winter showcase and closing show on 18 May will be hosted by fashion royalty, Oscar de la Renta Fall Winter collection. SK-II is the official skincare partner for AFF (does that mean all models will use SK-II products to prep their skin before makeup?) and therefore brand ambassadors Godfrey Gao and Kate Bosworth will be making an appearance at the shows!
Oscar de la Renta x TheOutnet.com. One glance of the pairing and the imagery of this capsule collection is clear. Dresses, dresses, dresses.
This 24-piece special collection features some of Oscar de la Renta’s celebrated styles in irresistible prices – imagine elegant full skirts, floral dresses, high waisted trousers and bouclé pieces. Prices range from £245 to £995 (that’s reportedly the price of a floor-length silk gown).
Olivia Palermo is the face of their collection look book! (Note: Floral printed elbow dress above will be priced at £775)
I met X-wen at the Jimmy Choo Fall/Winter collection preview a few days ago and it was hilarious how we came in same colour combination without any warning.
Of course we had to take a picture together. I love her new pixie crop!
I was in my day-to-day corporate lady wear, although I must say I really love the shade of kelly green of my skirt. It is a stunning colour that goes well with different skin tones.
